The truth about the Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon is evidence of the actual flood descibed in the Holy Bible.

Evolutionists claim that the Grand Canyon was formed over millions of years of erosion from the Colorado River.  They also claim that the sedimentary layers formed over geologic time, that is, over millions and millions of years.

Actually, the sedimentary layers formed from the flood.  The soft, saturated soil and the  reciprocating action of the flood waters hydrologically sorted the debris within the soil.

The Grand Canyon was formed rapidly by the flood waters.  Similar canyons were rapidly formed at Mt. St. Helens and Grand Coulee by catastrophe, supporting the fact that the Grand Canyon is not the result of millions of years of erosion.
Evidence against the theory that the Grand Canyon is the result of millions of years of erosion:
1. The Colorado River enters the canyon at 2800 ft. above seal level but the top of the canyon is between 7000 and 8000 ft. above sea level.  Rivers always flow downhill but never uphill.

2. There is no river delta for the Grand Canyon formation from the Colorado River.
